Tusken Chiropractic & Acupuncture

November 2004 Newsletter

Dear Friends,

I was watching Sunday morning, a news program on CBS, and their lead story was on the pharmaceutical companies high cost of drugs in this country. The most important concept I got from this report was a quote from the head of Pfizer Pharmaceutical, CEO Hank McKinnell, “…the answer to high drug prices is disease prevention, not price controls.”

It dawned on me that he was absolutely right and that we at Tusken Chiropractic and Acupuncture are in a unique position to on the forefront in this effort.

Here’s how:

1) Chiropractic is the largest non-drug health care system in the world; dedicated to balance in the muscular and skeletal systems (back problems). The number two reason people go to the doctor.

Our approaches include:

A. Decompression (opening the spine)

B. Full body and extremity adjusting

C. Exercise and rehab support

D. Self help approach that puts you in control of your health

2) Acupuncture. We have been using acupuncture in our practice for over eighteen years. This technique has helped thousands of people here in Loveland to overcome a variety of illnesses and pain. In the recent Sunday morning program on CBS, the CEO bragged that a new drug could help fifty percent of smokers quit. We’ve been getting much better results than fifty percent for over a decade.

3) Biocranial. Recently we’ve introduced a totally new manual technique that does more for whole body healing than just about anything we’ve experienced before. Using this single technique we’re able to help with a variety of problems including arthritis, neuralgias/neuropathies, gastro-intestinal disorders, skin disorders, among others.

4) Nutritional support. With a variety of nutritional products available, why not take advantage of the best health? Let us help you make good choices about what supplementation can benefit you the most.

Try another way, drug free healthcare.

Sincerely,

Rhett and Christopher Tusken
