What is Moxa?


Moxa is an herb called mugwort. It is pure yang in nature.


Why should I do it?


Moxa can increase your energy, your metabolism and improves your immune function. It expels cold and increases warmth in your body. It helps with asthma symptoms, midline stagnation, hormone balancing, and creates smooth flow of both chi (energy) and blood/circulation in your body.



When do I do it?


The earlier in the day the better. Definitely before noon.


How do I use it?


Fill your belly button with salt-any kind works. Put a slice of ginger root on top of the salt. Place a cone of moxa on the slice of ginger and burn it. Burn three cones in a row.
